According to the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA), between 2019 and 2040, offshore wind employment in New York State is expected to increase by 18,000 to 23,000 jobs. The manufacturing, construction, and induced industries will have the most employment expansion. According to the most recent employment statistics, most OSW-related occupations are centered in New York City and Long Island.
Since 2019, O-High Technologies has operated as a link between STEM firms and schools. According to the WDI Impact Report, the goal for Manufacturing Day 2021 was to reach over 4,000 students in 12 underserved school areas to promote career-path knowledge.
